Patricia was able to initiate a design process to build a brand while hitting the ground running. The web app needed a template for pages to establish usability expectations. Patricia delivered branded concepts while reviewing prototypes with business leaders. The branding and look and feel was paired down to a set of colors, layouts, ux widgets and a logo in the final hand off.
Business Goal: WriteToLearn, an old gray-scale 1980’s looking user interface, needed an updated user interface for middle school students in 2014. Stakeholders asked for an updated look and feel applied to an existing product then realized they needed a brand strategy to help sell the product during an education sales convention. Patricia was the only UX and UI designer for this initiative. She was able to lead the design process from start to finish working closely with in-house engineers.
